Mark was a Polish brother from another mother. Because of this, there was much we understood about each other right from the start, but as we found out, we both still had much to learn and continued to do so for years and years. He had an engineer's mind, and I very much appreciated that when he decided to do something, he would give it all his attention and do it right. He laughed easily and loudly, and although I'll sorely miss being able to share a laugh with him, I think that I'll miss our comfortable silences even more.
